Peanut Butter Cup Creme Pie
Today’s tasty treat is dedicated to my sweetie Hurley, whose birthday is today! Every year for his birthday, I always bake a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. I asked him if he wanted the cake this year, but he felt like having something different, something sinfully delicious. We sat down together and looked at many different recipes. He decided he wanted some kind of peanut butter based pie . I went on the Hershey’s Chocolate website in search for a simple peanut butter pie recipe that I can work with and tweak. The original recipe was simple peanut butter creme pie with a peanut butter nilla wafer combination crust. I opted to make a graham cracker crust instead. It’s the same exact crust I made for the Caramel Crumb Pumpkin Pie. I also added chopped pieces of mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to the filling, so when you bite into each piece you’ll have a little surprise waiting!
Happy Birthday Hurley!
Peanut Butter Cup Pie
- Graham Cracker Crust* Click the link for the crust recipe!
- 3/4 cup Mini Reese Peanut Butter cups, chopped and quartered
- 1/2 cup Skippy’s Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 package (3 oz.) Low Fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 cup Cool Whip Lite Topping, Thawed
- whipped topping
- Hershey kisses for decorations
Chop the mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in quarter lengthwise and set aside.
Combine peanut butter, cream cheese, and vanilla in medium bowl
It will be a tad messy until all three ingredients are combined:
beat until the peanut butter mixture forms a smooth-thick texture
Gradually add powdered sugar and milk
blending in until all of the powdered sugar and milk is used up, the filling to be smooth and silky
Fold in whipped topping using a spoon-ula
After all of the whipped topping is folded into the pie filling, it should look like this :
Stir in chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup pieces.

Pour the filling into the crust and cover with saran wrap.
Put the pie in the freezer for several hours or until firm. Before serving, take the pie out from the freezer and decorate with mini Hershey’s Kisses in anyway you wish!
Let it soften slightly and Garnish each slice with whipped topping . Makes 8-10 servings.
Store any left over pie in the freezer!

This looks so good but I’m peanut-intolerant! Still, that doesn’t mean I can’t stare and drool . . .
Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. I wish it was my birthday!
Happy birthday to Hurley! And what a fabulous treat! Yum!
