Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the broccoli for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil, then add the sliced beef along with minced garlic and ginger. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Return the broccoli to the skillet with the beef and pour in the prepared sauce; stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.
