  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for brushing)
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in warm milk and melted butter until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  2. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled.
  3. Punch down the dough, roll it into a rectangle about ½ inch thick, sprinkle with cheese and garlic, roll tightly into a log, and cut into 12 pieces.
  4. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Brush baked rolls with melted butter and garnish with parsley before serving.
