  • 12 large eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives (for decoration)
  • Cherry tomatoes, diced (for ornaments)
  • Red bell pepper, diced (for ornaments)
  • Carrot sticks (for tree trunks)

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs in a large pot of cold water until hard-boiled (approximately 12-14 minutes). Transfer to an ice bath to cool.
  2. Once cooled, peel eggs and halve them lengthwise. Remove yolks and combine with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites.
  4. Assemble trees by placing three filled egg halves in a triangular formation on a serving platter. Top with parsley or chives and decorate with cherry tomatoes and red bell peppers as ornaments. Add carrot sticks for trunks.
  5. Garnish with paprika before serving.
