  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; stir to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Punch down the risen dough, transfer it to a greased baking sheet, and shape it into an even rectangle or circle.
