  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat with salt and pepper until fully cooked.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef with diced potatoes, green beans, onion, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 1 hour covered; then remove the foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and potatoes are tender.
  6. Optionally sprinkle cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
