Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and optional rice vinegar and sesame oil.
  4. Lower the heat, return tofu to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and toss gently to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
