Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and lay flat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Spread some marinara sauce in a baking dish. Take a noodle, add filling at one end and roll tightly; place seam-side down in the dish.
- Repeat with remaining noodles and filling. Top rolls with marinara sauce and additional mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving; garnish with fresh basil.
