Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen shredded hashbrowns (thawed)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon (crumbled)
- 1/2 cup green onions (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and flour.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Form the mixture into patties about 1/2 inch thick (about 12 patties).
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
- Fry the patties in batches for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
