  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced (for salsa)
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped (for salsa)
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (for salsa)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (for salsa)
  • Salt to taste (for salsa)

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the steak by mixing olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the steak well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-6 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
  3. 3. Prepare the salsa by combining diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a bowl; mix well.
