- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 slider rolls (or mini burger buns)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, Italian herbs, breadcrumbs, and egg until combined. Form into 12 meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs for 8-10 minutes.
- Slice slider rolls in half and place the bottoms in a greased baking dish. Layer with marinara sauce, meatballs, more sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese; brush over sliders.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
