  • 2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate mousse (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup crushed hazelnuts
  • Whole Rocher chocolates for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip together heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. In each dessert bowl, layer crushed chocolate wafer cookies followed by chocolate hazelnut spread. Drizzle with hazelnut liqueur if desired.
  3. Spoon a layer of chocolate mousse over the spread and smooth the top.
  4. Add a generous layer of the whipped cream mixture and smooth it out evenly.
  5. Garnish with crushed hazelnuts and place a whole Rocher chocolate on top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
