Description

Salmon Wellington Pastry Bites are an irresistible appetizer that combines flaky puff pastry with tender salmon, creamy goat cheese, and fresh dill, all accented by a hint of lemon zest.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and diced
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 2-inch squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, goat cheese, dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on each pastry square. Fold corners over the filling and pinch to seal.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
