  • 8 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Pre-bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  4. Sauté spinach in the same skillet for about 2-3 minutes until wilted; set aside.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Spread cooked bacon and sautéed spinach in the crust; sprinkle cheese on top.
