1 teaspoon peppermint extract
4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a lined 9×13 inch baking pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in sugar until combined.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; combine with wet mixture.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
