- 4 cups tart cherries (fresh or frozen)
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- Unsalted butter
- Almond extract
- Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 13×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the tart cherries, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, almond extract, and salt. Cook until thickened (5–7 minutes) and set aside.
